Jun Malik. Senior Unity, XR and .NET developer and technical lead.
Real-time 3D · Unity & C# · .NET · React & TypeScript · Tech lead
11+ years building real-time 3D, VR, AR and web apps for Magnopus, Sky, Vodafone and Costain, with Focal Point VR for A2RL, and through N2O for Unilever, Mondelez and Castrol.
Most recently, for Magnopus, I built a photoreal Gaussian-splat viewer of a construction site that grew into a live site map now used every day by the teams on site.
At Costain I led an XR team on projects for HS2 Euston, Highways England (M1, M4 and A30), Network Rail, Manchester Airport and Veolia: construction-stage visualisation, a HoloLens 2 site-monitoring prototype, and VR training simulators, including the Meerkat simulator that helped Costain win a Network Rail contract.
Earlier, at Engage XR, I worked on shipped VR titles for PlayStation VR, SteamVR and Meta Quest, including Space Shuttle Commander and the Apollo 11 VR port to the original Oculus Quest.
I build interactive, engaging experiences for VR and AR headsets, web, iOS, Android and touchscreen installations, using Unity, WebGL and WebXR alongside newer tools such as Gaussian splatting, 3D generation and AI.
I also run Simam Digital, my own company, where I design, build and run my own products, including an AI agent governance layer and offline AI teammates.
I have led development teams and worked as the hands-on developer, from first prototype to delivery.
