01 Challenge

The product problem

Resort managers need to connect occupancy, reservations, guest activity, room readiness and pricing decisions. When those workflows sit in separate systems, daily performance is harder to understand and act upon.

02 Approach

Turning complexity into a usable product

I designed an operational overview around the jobs of a general manager. The navigation moves from dashboard and digital twin views into reservations, room status, guests, dynamic pricing and analytics, keeping commercial and service signals connected.

03 Execution

What I designed and built

The self-hosted demonstration uses fictional resort data and presents daily revenue, occupancy, average rate and check-in activity in a concise interface. Export and booking actions make it feel like a working product rather than a presentation dashboard.

04 Outcome

What the POC proves

The platform demonstrates how Simam Digital can translate a sector workflow into a coherent web application. It is an NDA-safe POC showing dashboard UX, operational modelling and product architecture without implying a named client deployment.

How the product was shaped

The resort platform connects commercial and operational state: reservations, inventory, room readiness, pricing and performance need to describe the same property day by day.

One room, several kinds of state

A room may be sold, occupied, due to depart, awaiting housekeeping or unavailable for maintenance. The data model separated booking state from operational readiness so commercial availability did not silently conflict with what staff could actually deliver.

Time is the core interaction

Calendar and date-range behaviour connected reservations, occupancy, price and workload. Moving the operating date updated all dependent views through shared state, allowing a manager to compare today, an upcoming period or a pricing scenario without manually reconciling different dashboard filters.

From overview to accountable action

Property KPIs provided orientation, but room and task detail explained what required attention. Status ownership and exception filters shaped a path from a performance signal to operational follow-up. The POC uses representative information and is positioned as a product and integration concept, not a live hotel deployment.
